Obituary: Michael Beauvais, 65, Of Wallingford

Michael worked in construction most of his life and ran his own business, BeauBach Builders, for the last several years.

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Michael Beauvais, of Wallingford, loving husband of DeAne (Coppola) Beauvais sadly passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2024, at the age of 65. He was a wonderful husband, stepfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many.

Michael was born in North Haven, CT. on September 18, 1958. While growing up he was very active in sports. He was a graduate of North Haven High School.

Michael worked in construction most of his life and ran his own business, BeauBach Builders, for the last several years.

He loved camping with his family, going to concerts, making his famous buffalo wings, vacationing on the Cape, cheating at jeopardy and all things sports related. He especially loved the Patriots, golf, and the Boston Red Sox. He always said that Fenway Park was “the greatest place on earth.”

Besides his wife, DeAne, he leaves behind a stepdaughter, Paige Burkhart, sisters Michele (Kevin) Ridley, Denise Beauvais (David) Albert. He is also survived by his nieces Amanda, Jill, Nicole and Helene, and nephew KJ among countless friends and his BGA group.

He was predeceased by his father George Beauvais and mother Lorraine (Remiszewski) Beauvais.

Michael was a kind and grateful man who humbly served his fellowship.

His family will receive friends and relatives at the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext. in Wallingford on May 15, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by a service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Michael’s honor to Bread for Friends 24 High St., Niantic, CT. 06357-2625.
