Obituary: Michael F. Murdock, 61, of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Michael F. Murdock, 61, of Wallingford, passed away unexpectedly June 8, 2022 at his home.

Michael was born in Lincoln, Maine on October 24, 1960, a son of the late Frederick and Irmgard (Voigt) Murdock.

Michael loved the outdoors and boating was his favorite. He had been employed at JR Christoni Trucking as a mechanic. He also had a passion for working on trucks and bikes and he loved his dog, Kirby.

He is survived by his daughter, Kendall Murdock of Cromwell; his son, Geoffrey Murdock and his wife Amanda, of Wallingford; his sister, Evelyn Munroe and her husband, Ronald, Lorraine Greene and her husband, Terry and Susan Needham and her husband, Tim; his niece, Donna Pelletier; his former wife, Kathleen Murdock of Wallingford; and his former companion, Brenda Camera of Wallingford.

Michael’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext. on Monday June 20, 2022 from 9 am until 11 am. A funeral service will follow at 11 am in the funeral home.

Interment will be private. Should friends desire, contributions can be sent to family in care of the Wallingford Funeral home.
