Obituary: Moira Elizabeth Vendetto, 29, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Moira Elizabeth Vendetto, 29, of Wallingford, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, at MidState Medical Center. She was born in New Haven on January 7, 1995, a daughter of Mark and Mary (Foley) Vendetto.

Moira was raised in Wallingford and graduated from Lyman Hall High School in 2013. She was a communicant of Church of the Resurrection and worked as a classroom individual aide at ACES Village School in North Haven. Moira was a sensitive, caring and loving person who loved art and music. She loved her dog, Jasmine and being an aunt to her nephew, Myles.

In addition to her parents, Moira is survived by her sister, Margaret Vendetto of Wallingford; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Melissa Vendetto.

Moira’s family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Tuesday, May 14, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. directly at Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Rd., Wallingford. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
