Obituary: Paul Francis Maloney, 70, of Wallingford
Paul, a dedicated family man, worked as a skilled tradesman for the Federal Paper Board, Ulbrich Steel and the City of Waterbury.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Paul Francis Maloney, 70, of Wallingford, loving husband of Donna (Grant) Maloney, passed away unexpectedly July 8, 2021 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.
He was born in New Haven on August 15, 1950, a son of the late Francis and Marie (McHugh) Maloney.
He worked as a skilled tradesman at Federal Paper Board, Ulbrich Steel, and most recently retired from the City of Waterbury.
While he could build and restore anything, Paul dedicated his entire life to family and friends first. He was the person everyone turned to when in need.
His passing leaves a void for everyone who knew him.
In addition to his wife, Donna, he is survived by his sons, Robert D’Errico and his wife, Christa, of Burlington, North Carolina and Michael D’Errico and his wife, Andrea, of Stow, Massachusetts; his daughter, Jennifer D’Errico of Wallingford; his sister, Rita Maloney-Solnet of Boca Raton, Florida; his grandchildren, Samantha, Gabrielle, Ashley, Olivia, Michael and Abigail; his great granddaughter, Ayana; and his nephew, Jeffrey Solnet of Washington D.C.
His family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext. on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 5 pm until 7 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am directly at Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford.
Interment will follow in St John Cemetery in Wallingford.
