WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) The family is shocked by the sudden loss of the “baby of the family” to a heart attack.

Paula Jean “PJ” (Boughton) Brown, daughter of Herbert and Doris Rosa Boughton and wife of Herbert Brown for 33 years.

Youngest of eight, she is survived by Carol B. Bowes, Ernest Boughton (Ginger), Mark Boughton (Lori), Mary B. Doolittle, Christine B. Brown (D. Scott).

She is remembered for her explosive laugh, her deep generosity, passionate love of music, rebel spirit, and as a dedicated Fox Steel employee for 35 years as executive administrator for Jim Vlock.

She joins her husband and parents in the afterlife at what we hope is around an eternal bonfire like our cherished memories of the campground in Vermont or with Lawrence Boughton, Kathleen B. Domingue, and Richard Bowes at a never-ending Janis Joplin concert.

The family is grateful for a recent get-together where Paula was able to see beloved nieces and nephews.
The viewing will be private; however all are welcome to attend the interment ceremony at St. John Cemetery, Christian Street, Wallingford on Monday, Dec. 6th at 11:00 a.m.

Paula supported family members and friends through cancer so please continue her legacy of care by making a memorial donation to Connecticut Cancer Foundation, 15 North Main Street, Old Saybrook , CT 06475 (www.ctcancerfoundation.org).

She would like us to end this with a reminder to her loved ones that she “was always right”.
