Obituary: Raphael N. Toth, 60, of Wallingford

Raphael worked as a sheet metal journeyman for many years. He loved traveling, fishing, reading, music and the Minnesota Vikings.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Raphael N. Toth, 60, of Wallingford, husband of the late Jacqueline (Higgins) Toth, passed away July 7, 2021 at MidState Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born in New Haven on August 31, 1960, a son of the late Raphael Toth. His mother Karen (Thompson) Toth currently resides in Wallingford.

Raphael worked as a sheet metal journeyman for many years in Wallingford before his retirement. He loved fishing and traveling with his late wife. Their favorite destination spot was Maui.

He enjoyed watching his favorite football team The Minnesota Vikings with his brothers.

He enjoyed reading books on American History and loved music.

He was an uncle to 16 niece’s and nephew’s whom he adored.

He is survived by his siblings, James Toth (Randi) of Maryland, Christina Lukeski (Andrew) of Waterbury, Marshall Toth of New Haven, Anita Dufresne of South Meriden, Lisa Perretta (Vincenzo) of Wallingford, Joseph Acampora of Wallingford, Sandra Pavo (Raymond) of South Meriden, Anthony Toth of Wallingford

His family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext. on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 10 am until 11 am.

A graveside service will follow in the In Memoriam Cemetery in Wallingford.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
