Parking Ban Announced In Wallingford

With snow in the forecast, officials announce a parking ban that will be in effect in Wallingford.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A parking ban will be in effect in Wallingford due to the inclement weather in the forecast, officials announced.

The parking ban will be in effect from 5 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 until midnight, according to police.

“The Department of Public Works reminds residents that when a parking ban is in effect during winter storms, temporary parking is available in municipal lots,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.

Police shared the parking options, pictured below, in the downtown area.

"The forecast shows the potential for a combination of snow and ice," police wrote. "The Wallingford Police Department urges residents to use extreme caution if they have a need to travel tomorrow."
