Paul Kuziel, 57 of East Haven passed away unexpectedly at home on September 26, 2025. He was born June 30 to Edward and Alice (Dudek) Kuziel. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne (Higinbotham) Kuziel and two daughters; Abigail Kuziel (Matthew Klemenz) of Wallingford and Lauren Bromley of East Haven along with a brother, Matthew Kuziel (Karen) of Cheshire. Paul is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond Kuziel.
Paul spent 20+ years working for Metro-North Railroad as a mechanical foreman. From an early age, Paul was a talented artist who loved sharing his work with others. He attended Paier College of Art, which became a stepping stone into his successful journey as an artist. He poured his heart and soul into every piece he created. Any hobby or interest, Paul fully immersed himself in and perfected. He loved music, often getting lost in the sounds of Steely Dan. He was also an avid motorcycle rider for many years, enjoying the freedom of the open road and using it as an escape from the stressors of life. He loved his animals dearly, most recently welcoming two orange kittens. His animals brought him immense joy. Paul cherished moments with family, sharing with everyone in his life how he was incredibly proud of his daughters. Paul loved having lively discussions and relaxing on the deck with a cigar in hand, but most of all, he loved spending time with his wife, Suzanne.
