Recognizing Grief and Working through the Stages
Gaylord Specialty Healthcare hosts free, interactive Zoom workshop series
Gaylord Specialty Healthcare will host “Recognizing Grief and Working through the Stages,” a free eight-week interactive Zoom workshop series for the community.
Led by Gaylord Director of Psychology Jonathan Woodhouse, PsyD, ABPP-CN, and Chaplain Rev. Joy Christi Przestwor, each session will explore topics such as the difference between grief and loss, the types and stages of grief, as well as memorials, rituals and ceremonies. The final session will conclude with a group ceremony.
The series is beneficial to anyone who has experienced a significant loss and would like to explore coping mechanisms and develop tools to move forward.

Sessions will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. every other Tuesday beginning on August 24.
