Will also serve on Public Safety and Regulations Review Committees

The Connecticut House Republican Caucus announced that State Representative Craig Fishbein (R-90)
will return to his role as Ranking Member of the legislature’s powerful
Judiciary Committee for the 2023-2024 legislative session.

In addition to making the Ranking Member assignments, House
Republican Leader Vincent Candelora also announced legislative committee
assignments for the upcoming session, appointing Rep. Fishbein to the
Public Safety and Security Committee and the
Regulations Review Committee for the session that begins on January 4,
2023. Ranking members serve as a liaison to caucus members regarding the
important issues from each individual committee.

“I would like to thank Rep. Candelora for once again placing his
trust in me to serve as Ranking Member of the Judiciary Committee and I
look forward to continuing to build upon the work we were able to
accomplish last session, including efforts to reduce juvenile crime,” Rep. Fishbein said.
