Rep. Liz Linehan has worked tirelessly for our businesses and families. She brought $50 million in educational funding to the 103rd district, passed legislation to protect preexisting conditions and lower the cost of insulin, and eliminated income tax on pensions and social security. Since the pandemic hit, she has tirelessly advocated for us in every way possible. It’s unfortunate that her opponent—who didn’t even show up for her own debate—has resorted to spreading lies about Linehan’s record. But Linehan’s dedication and accomplishments speak for themselves. That’s why both the Record Journal and Cheshire Herald have endorsed her.
The Record Journal wrote: “[W]e see no reason to remove a vigorous and accomplished representative at this time, and therefore we endorse Linehan for re-election.”
The Cheshire Herald endorsement reads: “During this pandemic, Linehan’s most important job as a representative is to help residents and business owners understand what is happening and offer aid in securing the tools necessary to keep themselves and/or their businesses afloat. In that regard, it would be hard to give Linehan anything but an A+ grade, and it is why The Herald is endorsing her for another term.”
