Road Closures, Parking Bans Announced For Twilight Tunes In Wallingford

Police are advising motorists of road closures and parking bans that will be in effect for the town's Twilight Tunes Concert Series.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Police are advising motorists of road closures and parking bans that will be in effect for the town’s Twilight Tunes Concert Series.

The 2025 Twilight Tunes Concert Series, presented by the Wallingford Parks and Recreation Department, will take place on South Main Street on Wednesdays from July 9 to Aug. 20.

The following road closures and parking prohibitions will be in effect on the dates listed below:

  • South Main Street, between its intersections with Prince Street and Center Street, will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic beginning at 5 p.m. Additionally, parking will be prohibited in this area.
  • Beginning at 12 noon, parking will also be prohibited in front of and directly across from 50 South Main Street and the Wallingford Post Office.

“Parking restrictions will be clearly posted in advance,” police wrote in a news release. “Please note that any vehicles parked in violation of these restrictions will be subject to ticketing by the police and may be towed at the owner's expense.”
