A Wallingford resident won $50,000 on a $50,000! Cash Blast scratch ticket that was sold at Foodmart at 570 Center St. in Wallingford, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
