Led by Mike Brezicki, Sheehan competed against Fairfield Ludlowe for the state title.

“After a long and detailed 2.5 hour trial, a panel of CT Supreme Court judges provided feedback to both teams and declared our Sheehan Mock Trial team, who were the prosecutors in the mock murder case, the winner and State Champ!” according to a post on the Wallingford Public Schools Facebook page. “Carter Lagasse was recognized as the stand out lawyer in the case. Congratulations to Mike Brezicki and the team who put in countless hours over the season and preparing for the championship round. Their efforts paid off, capturing the State title.”
