Police will be cracking down on speeding drivers in Wallingford with extra patrols in an upcoming enforcement campaign.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Police will be cracking down on speeding drivers in Wallingford with extra patrols in an upcoming enforcement campaign.
From March through May, the Wallingford Police Department will be “stepping up speed enforcement efforts on local and state rural roadways,” according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.
“Our goal? To reduce crashes, prevent injuries, and save lives,” the post reads. “This initiative is made possible through the CT Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety Enforcement Grant, which allows us to dedicate extra patrols specifically to target speed-related violations.
