Tow Truck Crashes Into Home: Wallingford Police
The operator of the tow truck was transported to an area hospital, police said.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A tow truck crashed into a house near 139 South Colony Road Sunday morning, police said.
Officers arrived and found that a tow truck had traveled southbound on South Colony road when it veered off the road to the right, struck a parked car on the side of the road, then collided into a house on the west side of the road, police said.
The operator of the tow truck was transported to an area hospital for suspected minor injuries, police said. No other injuries were reported at this time.

South Colony Road between Ward Street and Spring Street was closed Sunday morning but has since reopened, police said.
"We ask that drivers avoid the area and use either Ward Street or Spring Street to get around the area of the incident," police said.
