Unique Business Expanding With New Lounge In Wallingford
The popular combination bar and coffee shop has announced a new business venture.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Yellow King Brews, the popular combination bar and coffee shop, is expanding with a new lounge at its location in Wallingford, the owners announced on Tuesday.
“Carcosa at Yellow King Wallingford is coming later this month,” the owners wrote in a post on the Yellow King Brews Facebook page.
The new Carcosa Lounge Facebook page provided few details, but the business is listed as a restaurant on the page.

Carcosa Lounge will be next door to Yellow King Brews at 920 South Colony Road in Wallingford, The Connecticut Scoop first reported.
Yellow King Brews started in 2018 as a craft coffee company at farmers markets and local events, and opened its first shop in Wallingford in 2022.

“Our Wallingford location is one of the first establishments in New England to produce an Espresso Martini Flight,” according to a post on its website. “Since launching in Summer 2023 we have sold over 5,000 Espresso Martini Flights.”
Yellow King expanded with its second location in Bristol in December 2023, and recently introduced The King's Carriage, a fully stocked truck for catering events.
