Walk This Way: Indoor Walking Track At Choate Offered To Wallingford Residents For Free

Choate Rosemary Hall and Wallingford Family YMCA are teaming up to offer use of the school's indoor walking track to residents this winter.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Choate Rosemary Hall and Wallingford Family YMCA are teaming up again to promote healthy lifestyles by offering free use of the indoor walking track at the Worthington Johnson Athletic Center to the Wallingford community, according to officials.

Beginning Dec. 1, the indoor track at Choate Rosemary Hall will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. to the public to allow Wallingford residents the opportunity to exercise during the winter months, according to the Wallingford Family YMCA.

“By once again offering our indoor track to the community, we hope Wallingford residents will come inside, out of the winter weather and continue to exercise,” Choate spokesperson Alison Cady said in a statement. “This is a great way for (the) community to keep up with their New Year’s Resolutions and commitment to a healthier lifestyle.”
