Wallingford Changes Last Day Of School For Students
The Wallingford Board of Education approved a change in the 2024-25 school calendar at its meeting this week.
WALLINGFORD, CT — The Wallingford Board of Education approved reducing the number of student days from 183 to 182 for the 2024-25 school year at its meeting on Thursday night.
The change makes the last student day Friday, June 13, which will be an early release day for students and staff, according to Superintendent of Schools Danielle Bellizzi.
Bellizzi said the last day for certified staff and paraeducators will be Monday, June 16.

Graduation won’t be affected by the changes and will still take place on Friday, June 13, according to Bellizzi.
“We understand that changes to the school calendar can affect families, and we appreciate your understanding as we adjust to this change,” Bellizzi wrote in a message to parents. “Please take note of the new end date and plan accordingly.
