Gerald T. “Gerry” Kavanaugh, 82, died Nov. 27, 2025. A U.S. Army veteran and longtime English and history teacher at West Haven High School who also served as an adjunct professor, he enjoyed classical music, opera, astronomy, Shakespeare, history and bird-watching.
Linda Jean Cinquino, 74, died Nov. 29, 2025. A beloved wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed travel, beach vacations in Hawaii, city trips and theme parks.

Martin “Marty” Michael Maloney, 65, died Dec. 3, 2025. He was a U.S. Postal Service employee for more than 25 years who enjoyed reading and eccentric cooking.
James Edward Kelvey, 90, died Dec. 3, 2025. A proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked for 35 years as a press operator for the New Haven Register until his retirement.
Walter J. Urbanski, 63, died Dec. 3, 2025. He worked in the trucking industry and later did yard work and home repairs, enjoyed hiking, fishing, skiing, basketball and playing bass guitar.
Thomas R. “Rube” Rubenstein, 77, died Dec. 4, 2025. He was a U.S. Army veteran and longtime U.S. Postal Service letter carrier who enjoyed tennis, photography, music and animals.
Jason Edward Miller, 38, died Dec. 4, 2025. A mechanic with Abel Womack whose interests included boating, sailing, and lawn care, he had a deep love for animals, especially his beloved Pomeranian, Neo.
John T. Mooney Jr., 68, died Dec. 8, 2025. He was a warehouseman in the metals industry who also worked part time at East Center Market and enjoyed golf and following the Giants, Mets and UConn Huskies.
Madeline Rose Acabbo Bossidy died Dec. 10, 2025. She was a payroll manager at Cytec Industries for more than 30 years who later enjoyed extensive travel, beach trips, gardening, cooking, volunteering and community service.
