Wallingford Man Charged In Burglary Of Restaurant In North Haven: Police
The man has been arrested on a warrant, according to police.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Wallingford man is accused of burglarizing a restaurant in North Haven in September, according to police.
North Haven patrol officers responded on Sept. 2 to a report of a burglary at a restaurant on Washington Avenue.
Police said officers saw damage to the establishment’s property, and North Haven detectives initiated an investigation.

“Surveillance footage obtained from the scene showed a white van and the suspect entering the restaurant’s rear storage container and removing multiple items, including gallon containers and cases of food, etc.,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.
Detectives identified the suspect as 53-year-old Todd Tondalo of Wallingford, according to police.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Tondalo, who police said was taken into custody on Nov. 17 and charged with burglary and larceny. He was released after posting a $20,000 bond.
“The North Haven Police Department will continue to hold individuals accountable—whether at the time of the crime or after,” police wrote. “We remain committed to keeping our community and local businesses protected and safe.”
