Wallingford Police Begin Final Phase Of Move To New Headquarters

Wallingford police announced an update in connection with the department's move to its new headquarters.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The Wallingford Police Department will begin the final phase of its move to its new headquarters at 100 Barnes Rd. on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

Police said the phone systems will be integrated on Tuesday morning.

“Individuals will experience intermittent outages when utilizing the routine Police Department phone numbers,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “It is anticipated that the interruptions will not be long-term and we will announce when they have returned to normal working conditions. Anyone experiencing an emergency should call 911. This message only pertains to the routine department numbers.

“It is anticipated that all Wallingford Police Department operations will run out of 100 Barnes Rd. at 4:00 PM on December 10th. Further announcements will be made to let the public know the changeover status.”
