Wallingford Police Blotter: Feb. 24 Through Feb. 28, 2025
Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.
WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Anthony N. Pagano, 34, of Wallingford, was arrested Feb. 24 on charges of third-degree robbery and fourth-degree larceny. He was additionally charged with sixth-degree larceny and third-degree robbery, and first-degree robbery – deadly weapon and sixth-degree larceny in other cases. He was being held in lieu of bonds totaling $30,000 with a court date of April 22. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges, according to state judicial records.
Jesus Alvarado-Avila, 26, of Wallingford, was arrested Feb. 24 on charges of drinking while driving, operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, possession of controlled substance – first offense, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating without a license, operating without insurance, and falsify marker / license / registration. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of April 14.

Daniel J. Maginnis, 41, of Wallingford, was arrested Feb. 25 on a charge of violation of protective order. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond with a court date of March 24.
Nixon M. Romero-Perez, 50, of Wallingford, was arrested Feb. 25 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs and operating without a license. He was released on a promise to appear in court on March 26.

Jeffrey P. Prusinski, 42, of North Branford, was arrested Feb. 27 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, possession of controlled substance – first offense, and failure to drive in proper lane. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of April 10.
Brian A. Dowling, 31, of Wallingford, was arrested Feb. 27 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, traveling unreasonably fast, failure to drive upon right, and evading responsibility – injury / property damage. He was released after posting a $500 bond with a court date of April 2.
Brendan W. Pogonelski, 39, of Hamden, was arrested Feb. 27 on charges of second-degree threatening – physical threat and second-degree harassment. He was released after posting a $75,000 bond with a court date of April 7. He was also charged on Feb. 28 with criminal attempt at violation of probation. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond with a court date of April 7.
Daniel J. Hager-Barbary, 23, of Wallingford, was arrested Feb. 27 on charges of criminal possession of pistol / revolver, sale of narcotic substance, and possession of control substance – first offense. He was being held in lieu of a $1 million bond with a court date of March 26.
Lindsay M. Modeen, 41, of Plainville, was arrested Feb. 28 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs with child under 18 passenger, failure to drive in proper lane, and traveling unreasonably fast. She was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of April 10.
Kian J. Rolfe, 29, of Groton, was arrested Feb. 28 on a charge of second-degree harassment. He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 8.
Edward M. Mascola, 49, of Higganum, was arrested Feb. 28 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of April 29.
