Wallingford Police Blotter: July 12 Through July 18, 2025
Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.
WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Sarah E. Garcia, 35, of Wallingford, was arrested July 12 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, failure to yield to pedestrian, and three counts of operating under the influence with child under 18 passenger. She was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Aug. 27, according to state judicial records.
Alexander Diaz, 47, of Wallingford, was arrested July 12 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, evading responsibility – injury / property damage, illegal possession of weapon in motor vehicle, and two counts of carrying a dangerous weapon. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 10.

Dion J. Covington, 35, of New Haven, was arrested July 12 on charges of fifth-degree larceny, third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and violating protective order. He was additionally charged with violation of probation. He was released after posting bonds totaling $20,000 with a court date of Aug. 25.
Michael A. Finelli, 50, of Wallingford, was arrested July 13 on a charge of first-degree criminal trespass. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 29.

Craig N. Polivka, 54, of North Branford, was arrested July 13 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, failure to renew license, and failure to drive upon right. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Aug. 28.
Benjamin E. Abujade, 38, of Wallingford, was arrested July 13 on charges of sixth-degree larceny and disorderly conduct. He was being held in lieu of a $500 bond with a court date of Sept. 3.
Shanon M. Lewis, 41, of Hartford, was arrested July 14 on charges of carrying a dangerous weapon and two counts of risk of injury to child. She was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Aug. 22.
Frank N. Perrotti, 54, of Wallingford, was arrested July 15 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Sept. 11.
Douglas Daniels, 60, of New Haven, was arrested July 15 on three counts of sixth-degree larceny and three counts of conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 16.
Jodie L. Mesite, 49, of Northford, was arrested July 15 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 26.
Murtuza A. Syed, 36, of New Haven, was arrested July 15 on charges of second-degree harassment and second-degree threatening – physical threat. He was released after posting a $50,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 26.
Robert Rintoul, 55, of Haddam, was arrested July 15 on charges of third-degree assault, second-degree threatening, interfering with an emergency call and two counts of second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 26. He was also charged on July 16 with three counts of violation of probation. He was released after posting bonds totaling $75,000 with a court date of Aug. 26.
Brittany Bjornberg, 34, of Wallingford, was arrested July 16 on charges of third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful restraint, and second-degree breach of peace. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Sept. 19.
Arthur R. Tramontano, 69, of Wallingford, was arrested July 16 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs. He was released after posting a $500 bond with a court date of Sept. 4.
Toni C. Perry, 38, of West Hartford, was arrested July 17 on charges of third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief. She was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 10.
Angel Ocasio, 32, of Wallingford, was arrested July 18 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, failure to drive in proper lane, and operating unregistered motor vehicle. He was released after posting a $500 bond with a court date of Sept. 5.
Tyler C. Tardiff, 37, of Meriden, was arrested July 18 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 28.
