Wallingford Police Blotter: June 21 Through June 30, 2025
Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.
WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Angel M. Garces-Arrobo, 40, of Wallingford, was arrested June 21 on charges of fourth-degree sexual assault and second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 8, according to state judicial records.
Deana Zavala, 34, of Meriden, was arrested June 21 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs and failure to drive in proper lane. She was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 26.

Derek A. Vansteenburgh, 23, of Wallingford, was arrested June 22 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs and following too closely – with accident. He was released after posting a $7,500 bond with a court date of July 29.
Thomas W. Simpson, 67, of Wallingford, was arrested June 23 on charges of risk of injury to child and fourth-degree sexual assault. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 27.

Margarita S. Gordon, 27, of Wallingford, was arrested June 23 on charges of second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening – physical threat. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Aug. 11. She was also arrested June 29 on a charge of second-degree criminal mischief. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 4 on that charge.
Lawrence J. Leson, 68, of Fairfield, was arrested June 25 on two counts of violating standing criminal protective order. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 4.
Arryn M. Bennerman, 34, of New Haven, was arrested June 25 on two counts of violating a protective order and two counts of second-degree harassment. He was released on a promise to appear in court on July 30.
Kristopher M. Pascarelli, 37, of Northford, was arrested June 25 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs and failure to drive in proper lane. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 18.
Christopher W. Sargent, 45, of Wallingford, was arrested June 26 on two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of second-degree unlawful restraint. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 18.
Aidan P. Morgan, 60, of Wallingford, was arrested June 27 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs and failure to wear safety seat belt. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of July 29.
Herbert K. Thompson, 30, of Wallingford, was arrested June 27 on charges of second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Sept. 4.
Shoshana F. Moskowitz, 27, of Cheshire, was arrested June 29 on charges of sixth-degree larceny, possession of controlled substance – first offense, second-degree breach of peace and use of drug paraphernalia. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Aug. 4.
Christian Cardena, 40, of Wallingford, was arrested June 29 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs and operating under suspension. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 13.
Nocianie Joseph, 35, of Hempstead, New York, was arrested June 30 on charges of first-degree criminal trespass, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, and sixth-degree larceny. She was released after posting a $55,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 22.
Corey T. Dewars-Jones, 34, of Baldwin, New York, was arrested June 30 on charges of first-degree criminal trespass, sixth-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $55,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 22.
Carlos A. Cortez, 61, of Brooklyn, New York, was arrested June 30 on charges of illegal possession of weapon in motor vehicle, second-degree breach of peace, possession of controlled substance – first offense, and use of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 4.
Sean McCoyd, 31, of Lookout, New York, was arrested June 30 on charges of first-degree criminal trespass, sixth-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. He was being held in lieu of a $150,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 8.
