Wallingford Police Blotter: June 6 Through June 20, 2025
Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.
WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Kenneth E. Evans, 34, of Wallingford, was arrested June 7 on charges of second-degree breach of peace, third-degree assault, and second-degree unlawful restraint. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 11, according to state judicial records.
Owen L. Ibbitson, 27, of Meriden, was arrested June 7 on a charge of violating conditions of release – second-degree threatening. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 14.

Candice M. Kelly, 44, of Meriden, was arrested June 7 on charges of possession of burglar tools, sixth-degree larceny, and use of drug paraphernalia. She was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of July 14.
Chad Stewart, 44, of Wallingford, was arrested June 8 on charges of drinking while driving, operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, operating under suspension – alcohol, and failure to comply with state traffic control regulations. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of July 29.

Shannon M. Riso, 39, of Wallingford, was arrested June 9 on charges of second-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and illegal operation of motor vehicle – harass/intimidation. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 14.
Michael J. Musante, 64, of Wallingford, was arrested June 11 on charges of first-degree threatening – armed / displaying firearm, negligent storage of firearm, second-degree breach of peace, and risk of injury to child. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of July 23.
Robert M. Bruzy, 42, of Meriden, was arrested June 12 on two counts of second-degree threatening and one count each of second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of July 18.
Daniel Toce, 37, of East Haven, was arrested June 15 on a charge of fourth-degree larceny. He was being held in lieu of a $2,000 bond with a court date of July 18. He was additionally charged with violation of probation, and was being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond on that charge.
Jonathyne D. Sinclair, 46, of Waterbury, was arrested June 16 on charges of operating under the influence with child under 18 passenger, risk of injury to child, failure to drive in proper lane, and operating motor vehicle without minimum insurance. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of July 30.
Barbara A. Dietz, 57, of Wallingford, was arrested June 17 on two counts of assault on a public safety officer and one count each of second-degree breach of peace, third-degree assault, and interfering with officer / resisting. She was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Aug. 8. She was additionally charged with first-degree violating conditions of release. She was released after posting a $20,000 bond on that charge.
Lawrence J. Leson, 68, of Fairfield, was arrested June 18 on a charge of violation of a standing criminal protective order. He was released after posting a $100,000 bond. He has pleaded not guilty to the charge with a pre-trial date of Aug. 12, according to judicial records.
Julian A. Grenier, 19, of Meriden, was arrested June 20 on charges of sixth-degree larceny, third-degree robbery, and second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Aug. 18.
