Wallingford Police Blotter: March 27 Through March 31, 2025

Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Kevin M. Lyons, 32, of Windsor Locks, was arrested March 27 on charges of fourth-degree larceny, accessory to fourth-degree larceny, third-degree forgery, accessory to third-degree forgery, and illegal possession of prescription drugs. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond with a court date of May 2, according to state judicial records.

James T. Barnes, 35, of Bridgeport, was arrested March 27 on charges of third-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit third-degree forgery, fourth-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $50,000 bond with a court date of June 2.

Austin D. Sabatucci, 62, of Wallingford, was arrested March 27 on charges of carrying a dangerous weapon and second-degree unlawful restraint. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of May 1.

Matthew D. Flanders, 25, of Waterbury, was arrested March 28 on charges of larceny of motor vehicle – first offense, second-degree reckless endangerment, and reckless driving. He was being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond with a court date of April 28.

Daniel B. Lanigan, 54, of Cheshire, was arrested March 28 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on June 5.

Etzael Palacios-Rosado, 44, of New Haven, was arrested March 29 on charges of carrying a dangerous weapon, illegal possession of weapon in motor vehicle, operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating motor vehicle without license, and operating without insurance. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of April 29.

Ashley N. Balogh, 40, of Wallingford, was arrested March 30 on charges of second-degree harassment and violation of protective order. She was released on a promise to appear in court on May 8.

Raymond F. Figlewski, 36, of Wallingford, was arrested March 30 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, possession of controlled substance – first offense, use of drug paraphernalia, and operating under suspension. He was released on a promise to appear in court on June 4.

Joshua T. Kowaleski, 23, of Wallingford, was arrested March 31 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, illegal possession of prescription drugs, and illegal operating motor vehicle without ignition device. He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 23.

Leslie Aviles, 24, of Bridgeport, was arrested March 31 on charges of third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. She was released on a promise to appear in court on June 5.

Ontwon D. Sullins, 43, of Hamden, was arrested March 31 on charges of interfering with officer / resisting, engaging police in pursuit, improper use – marker / license / registration, operating without insurance, operating an unregistered vehicle, and operating without a license. He was being held in lieu of a $100 bond with a court date of May 8.
