Wallingford Police Blotter: May 1 Through May 8, 2025

Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Yanli Zhu, 56, of Flushing, New York, was arrested May 1 on a charge of violation of massage therapy requirements. She was released on a promise to appear in court on June 9, according to state judicial records.

John W. Brown, 45, of Meriden, was arrested May 2 on charges of drinking while driving, operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, interfering with officer / resisting, and speeding. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of July 15.

Ramon F. Verdin, 20, of Meriden, was arrested May 2 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs and evading responsibility – injury / property damage. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of July 3.

John W. Thompson, 61, of Wallingford, was arrested May 3 on charges of criminal possession of firearm / ammunition / defense weapon, negligent storage of firearm, illegal possession of large capacity magazine, and disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear in court on June 4.

Dustin I. Hayden, 47, of Branford, was arrested May 5 on charges of fifth-degree larceny, criminal impersonation, and interfering with officer / resisting. He was being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond with a court date of June 6.

Treasure S. Benjamin, 24, of New Haven, was arrested May 6 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of June 10.

Michael C. Unger, 22, of Wallingford, was arrested May 7 on charges of first-degree unlawful restraint, second-degree threatening – physical threat, interfering with officer / resisting, second-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of June 10.

Nicolette P. Nadeau, 35, of Newington, was arrested May 7 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs. She was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of June 5.

Ahnyah K. Norris, 20, of Wallingford, was arrested May 8 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. She was released on a promise to appear in court on July 16.

Kaitlyn M. Cruickshanks, 32, of West Springfield, Massachusetts, was arrested May 8 on a charge of fifth-degree larceny. She was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of June 26. She was additionally charged with fifth-degree larceny, criminal impersonation, second-degree forgery, and interfering with officer / resisting. She was released after posting a $1,500 bond on those charges, also with a court date of June 26.

Crixtopher Duprey, 29, of Wallingford, was arrested May 8 on three counts of third-degree assault, three counts of risk of injury to child, three counts of second-degree breach of peace, and one count each of second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree threatening – physical threat. He was released on a promise to appear in court on June 5.
