Wallingford Police Blotter: Oct. 22 Through Oct. 31, 2025

Recent arrests by the Wallingford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Brendan W. Pogonelski, 39, of Hamden, was arrested Oct. 22 on three counts of violation of protective order and one count of second-degree criminal mischief. He was being held in lieu of a $1,000 bond with a court date of Dec. 15, according to state judicial records.

Rafael J. Fonseca, 35, of Meriden, was arrested Oct. 23 on charges of possession of controlled substance – second offense and use of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting a $100 bond with a court date of Dec. 3. He was additionally charged with violation of probation. He was released after posting a $2,000 bond with a court date of Dec. 5.

John M. Cebula, 22, of North Haven, was arrested Oct. 23 on two counts of second-degree reckless endangerment and one count each of reckless driving – first offense, disobeying signal of officer, unsafe passing -left side, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to display plates / inserts. He was released after posting a $7,500 bond with a court date of Dec. 17.

Mary H. Sherman, 52, of Bolton, was arrested Oct. 25 on charges of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Dec. 9.

Joseph A. Zeolla, 44, of Shelton, was arrested Oct. 26 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Jan. 8.

Cody Bowen, 35, of Wallingford, was arrested Oct. 28 on a charge of risk of injury to child. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Jan. 8.

Kristin E. Litwinczyk, 31, of Bristol, was arrested Oct. 29 on charges of third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. She was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Jan. 8.

Thomas M. Rodriguez, 44, of Milford, was arrested Oct. 29 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs and failure to drive in proper lane. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 22.

Jared Israel, 23, of Wallingford, was arrested Oct. 30 on charges of second-degree reckless endangerment and risk of injury to child. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Dec. 2.

Jose O. Chapa-Bautista, 53, of Wallingford, was arrested Oct. 30 on two counts of interfering with officer / resisting and one count each of failure to drive in proper lane and operating without a license. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Jan. 8.

Christine M. Burnaka, 63, of Wallingford, was arrested Oct. 31 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Dec. 16.

Michael Zaccarino, 35, of Meriden, was arrested Oct. 31 on charges of sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit, traffic control signals, and interfering with officer / resisting. He was being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond with a court date of Dec. 12.

Gracie A. Maisonave, 38, of New Haven, was arrested Oct. 31 on charges of sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Jan. 7.
