Children Share Caring Card With Waterford Police Officer
The children, ages 4 and 5, delivered a very important message to one Waterford police officer.

Waterford Police Officer Leigh Bonkowski was in her cruiser Saturday, March 26, at the local Target store. Two children, approximately four and five years of age, approached her cruiser with something important to say.
"The two kids provided her this card, which she said they seemed very proud of making," police said via Facebook.
The sweet, handwritten card, complete with a green heart for good measure, said: ""Thank you for keping us safe."
"Being the trained observer that she is, Officer Bonkowski further described the kids as the 'cutest kids ever'," police said.
