MYSTIC, CT — A family jewelry store is closing its Middletown location but will keep its Waterford and Mystic stores open.

"You may have read that Mallove’s of Middletown is closing. The Middletown store was purchased from my grandfather in 1928, and has no affiliation with our Waterford and Mystic stores. We have been in business for 106 years, and now have two of my children working to help carry the business into a 4th generation. Mallove’s is very grateful and committed to be part of the fabric of Southeastern Connecticut, and our family and employees look forward to continuing to service generations of families for years to come."
