Is the nominee considered an “essential worker”?:
No
What does the nominee do for work?:
Jennifer is the mom of three girls and she was the morning care coordinator and a lunch/recess aide at Quaker Hill School prior to the schools going to remote learning.
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Jennifer has been home with her children since 3/13 and helps to navigate the daily remote learning between all three of her girls. She also decided to make a handful of masks for the Naval base so that her husband and his colleagues would be protected. This has turned into her making 500+ masks in which she has donated to the Navy base for all of the sailors and she is still making more!
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Jennifer is a positive force in this world. She is kind, upbeat and truly looks for the positives in people. She is giving and thoughtful and a real role model for others. During this stressful time, she has chosen to be a helper and channel her energy to doing something selfless for others.
