We have just moved to this area. The staff (Hi Lewis and Eva!) have welcomed us and it's a joy every time we go in there. The food is equally warm and delicious. Peruvian and American options are original and yet familiar. We go there whenever we need a lift from being in a new environment and come away satisfied and happy.
What would you like everyone in town to know about your nominee?
The staff is warm and inviting and the food is outstanding! My favorite comfort food is Sopa ala Minuta, a large bowl of brothy, milky chicken soup with some noodles served steaming hot every time. It never disappoints!
If you could tell them one thing, what would it be?
Thank you Lewis and Eva for welcoming us to our new home with open hearts and delicious, comforting food!
What’s something you love most about your town or community?
We moved to the New London area because of the diversity, multitude of places to interact with (Thank you Susan at The Custom House!). We also wanted to be near the water and in a place with seagoing history.
We want to hear from you, too! Is there a restaurant, a contractor, a business, a person — even a place — that’s your pick for Best of 2025? Click here to answer a few questions, and your story could be featured on Patch.
