The pick your own blueberry season began early this year and berry lovers are taking full advantage of the head start.
in Ledyard has been growing and grooming blueberry bushes for decades and this year's early season brought brought back new and returning families eager to build or carry on a tastey tradition.
People are welcome to pick their own and as many blueberries as possible at Holmberg Orchard on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9 a.m to 12 p.m. And in case you picked too many than you know what to do with, here's a link to Holmberg's recommended recipes.
