Waterford-East Lyme ACO Announces Retirement
Robert Yuchniuk has served as police officer and animal control for Waterford-East Lyme for nearly 28 years.
An officer joins the force as another prepares to retire. On Monday, March 28, the Waterford Police Department welcomed Officer Nicholas Genung at his official pinning ceremony.
That same day, Officer First Class Robert Yuchniuk gave notice of his retirement after almost 28 years of dedicated service as a police officer and Waterford-East Lyme Animal Control Officer.
"Welcome Nick, and thank you for your dedicated service, Bob," police wrote via Facebook.
