Waterford Election Results 2024: Vote Totals For Every Race

Here is how Waterford residents voted for every person on the ballot including president, congress and their local state races.

WATERFORD, CT — The votes are still being counted in many places across the country but fortunately in Connecticut and in Waterford the votes have all been counted.

On Election Day, Kamala Harris received 888,057 votes in Connecticut compared to 689,990 for Donald Trump, according to the Secretary of State's Office.

In Connecticut's 5 congressional districts the projected winners are all the incumbent Democrats: John Larson, Joe Courtney, Rosa L. DeLauro, Jim Himes, and Jahana Hayes.

United States Senate

Christopher S. Murphy, Democrat, 6,364 and 334

Matthew M. Corey, Republican, 4,758

Justin C. Paglino, Green Party, 106

Robert Finley Hyde, Cheaper Gas Groceries Party, 120

Murphy won with 856,252 votes and 42,501 votes compared to Corey's 638,169 votes.


U.S. Congress

Joe Courtney, 7,229

Mike France, 4,445

Courtney won with 216,572 votes across the entire district and France received 157,616.


State Senator 20

Martha Marx, 5,868 and 302

Shaun Mastroianni, 5,165 and 212

Marx won with 26,609 and 1,266 votes across the entire district, while Mastroianni received 20,844 and 917 votes.


State Representative 38

Nick Gauthier, 5,463 and 249 and 165

Kathleen M. McCarty, 5,804

In a tight race, McCarty has 7,100 votes and Gauthier has 7,274 votes across the entire district.
