Waterford Passes $2 Million For School, Town Improvements

Much of the funds will go toward improving security at Waterford's five schools, according to a report.

WATERFORD, CT — The town has approved nearly $2 million which will mostly go toward upgrading its five schools, WTNH News-8 reported. The funds will go in part toward adding 400 new high-resolution security cameras at schools.

New fences around elementary school playgrounds and three new digital message boards are also in the works.

Waterford will also upgrade all town buildings, including the town hall, public safety complex, police department, and library.
