Waterford Public Library: 'Al Fresco' Summer Performance

This Friday evening, August 13th at 6:00 p.m. Adapted from the 19th-century autobiography by Emily Ruete (born Salamah bint Said), a former princess of Zanzibar. In this show, you will meet the princess and learn about her life growing up in Zanzibar and her married life in Germany.

Zanzibar is an island nation resting in the Indian Ocean off the east coast of Africa. We are pleased to welcome Rita Parisi, a Massachusetts based actor and playwright. She has toured her one-woman shows for diverse venues in New England, New York, New Jersey and Florida. Registration is suggested but not required. Rain date is Friday, August 20th.
