WEST HARTFORD, CT — Two veteran West Hartford Fire Department leaders were promoted to new roles within the ranks.The WHFD announced the promotions earlier this month.According to the WHFD, the following officials were sworn into new positions:• Firefighter/EMT Erik Wilson was promoted to Fire Lieutenant. He is assigned to Engine 2.• Lt. Troy Shipley was promoted to Fire Captain.
