West Hartford Mixed-Use Development Project Receives Boost from the State: Report

A $5 million loan will help finance the $20-million construction project for the mixed-use building.

West Hartford, CT - West Hartford's $20 million mixed-use development is getting a big boost in aid from the state.

According to a report in We-Ha.com, the state approved a $5 million loan for the construction of 616 New Park, which will feature 54 apartment units, some affordable housing units and some support housing for veterans. There will be business and restaurant space on the first floor, the report states.

Trout Brook Realty Advisors, the nonprofit constructing the $20 million residential and commercial building, received the loan from the state Department of Housing, We-Ha.com reports.
