With Rain/Wind Storm Brewing, West Hartford Issues Warning To Residents
The town is urging folks to take action in response to Friday's expected tempest, especially with those holiday decorations outside.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Residents who don't want to see their inflatable Santa fly away on Friday might want to take the advice of the town.
West Hartford officials on Thursday said Friday's expected wind and rain storm should prompt folks to bring in any holiday decorations that could take flight.

"A cold front is forecast for early Friday morning with strong southerly winds at 50 mph and wind gusts exceeding that across much of the state," wrote the town. "Localized power outages are possible."
As a result, residents are urged to secure any outdoor holiday decorations or loose items that could be blown away by the wind.
