The Conard High field hockey team remained undefeated with a 6-0 victory over E.O. Smith at McKee Stadium on Tuesday.
Forward Cassie Falvey was terrific, scoring two goals while assisting on another.
"She was great 1-on-1, great on transition and had some real nice hits to the cage," Conard head coach Cathy Callahan said.
Kiernan Henderson had a goal and an assist, while Alyssa Murray and Gwen Geisler also scored.
Goalkeeper Emma Everett earned the clean sheet for Conard, which improved to 2-0 on the year.
Callahan was pleased with her team's performance.
"We met our goals for the first half, we met our goals for the second half, we had nice transition play and opportunities on the cage," she said.
Going forward, Callahan said she was looking forward to games against CCC rivals Glastonbury, Farmington and Simsbury.
"We're going to bring our game to the next level [against them]," she said.
