Don't Like Your Car Taxes? Appeal Them This Week In West Hartford
Those questioning the town's assessment of their motor vehicles can do so starting this week, with two other meetings later this month.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — If you don't agree with what the town is assessing your motor vehicle at, there is something you can do.
The Town of West Hartford’s Board of Assessment Appeals will conduct sessions for motor vehicle assessments on the Oct. 1, 2024, Grand List.

Meetings will be held in Room 142 of the West Hartford Town Hall, located at 50 S. Main St., West Hartford, Connecticut.

- Thursday, Sept. 18, from 5 to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m. to noon.
- Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Those attending should bring a completed application located on the Assessment webpage at https://www.westhartfordct.gov/assessment.
Click on “Board of Assessment Appeals.”
The motor vehicle(s) for which you are appealing must be with you at the time of your appeal hearing.
