Family Displaced After West Hartford House Fire Sunday: WHFD
The American Red Cross is assisting the fire victims.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — The occupants of a Farmington Avenue home were displaced after a fire broke out on the third floor.
According to the West Hartford Fire Department, at about 2:59 p.m. Sunday, units were dispatched to a reported fire on the third floor of 798 Farmington Ave.
"Upon arrival, fire personnel observed a light smoke condition emanating from a third-floor window of a mixed-use building," wrote the WFHD on Sunday. "Firefighters quickly located and extinguished a small fire on the third floor."

No injuries were reported to either civilians or fire service personnel, according to fire officials
"Due to smoke and water damage, the American Red Cross is assisting with the relocation of the affected tenants," wrote the WHFD.

According to the Red Cross, one adult and three children are receiving assistance from the organization, including emergency items and help finding a place to stay.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the West Hartford Fire Marshal's Office.
