Free Ice Skating Friday For West Hartford Middle Schoolers

The town's prevention partnership is hosting a special night of free skating for middle school-aged youths from West Hartford.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — If you're a West Hartford middle school-aged student, Friday night is all right for skating.

That's because the West Hartford Prevention Partnership, in conjunction with the Bridge Teen Center, West Hartford Police Department, and West Hartford Social Services, will host a free skate night for West Hartford middle schoolers on Friday, Dec. 6, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Skating Rink, 56 Buena Vista Road, West Hartford.

This annual event features free admission and skates for the first 150 middle school students admitted.

Resource tables on vaping dangers and wellness will be featured along with "School of Rock" performers for entertainment.

This annual activity is a substance-free healthy living and health and wellness event sponsored by the West Hartford Prevention Partnership.
