Hartford Crossing Guard Hit By Hit-And-Run Vehicle: Reports

HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford school system crossing guard on her way to her post was struck by a vehicle Monday morning, a vehicle that fled.

According to WFSB Channel 3, the female crossing guard was hit Monday morning on Blue Hills Avenue while she was walking to her assigned post.

WVIT Channel 30 reported, citing the Hartford Police Department, that the woman was alert and conscious, complaining of only minor injuries.

The vehicle, reportedly, fled the scene heading north.
