Summer began on Friday, and all of the Town of West Hartford's outdoor pools are open for the season from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Outdoor pools are located at four West Hartford parks: Beachland, Eisenhower, Fernridge, and Kennedy. The pools will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, but will be open for the regular summer schedule on Wednesday, June 26, when all schools are officially on summer vacation. Public swimming, swim lessons, swim team practices, and camps held at the pools and parks all begin on Wednesday.
