Learn To Stay Safe This Summer In West Hartford
The town is hosting a forum on Tuesday, June 3, at the Noah Webster Library on ways folks can stay safe during the hot summer months.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — With summer-like temperatures already in the forecast this week, it's as good a week as any for West Hartford to host a summer safety workshop with the community.
On Tuesday, June 3, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the town and the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District are hosting such a program at the West Hartford Public Library's Noah Webster Library, 20 S. Main St., West Hartford.
Participants will be able to learn practical tips and recommendations for summer safety, including proper hydration, storm preparedness, dealing with extreme heat, and more.

"It is important to identify and learn about the potential severe weather threats and prepare now. Help us to build a resilient community," wrote the health department.

The program is presented by Melissa Marquis, of the West Hartford Office of Emergency Management and West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District.
Free parking in the Isham Garage is available at the Noah Webster Library during your library visit.
