Life-Saving Test Available For West Hartford Residents

Residents in the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District are eligible for a special mobile mammography clinic slated for July 30.

WEST HARTFORD/BLOOMFIELD, CT — West Hartford residents are invited to get a potentially life-saving test at a nearby mobile site.

They are invited to participate in Hartford Hospital’s Digital Mobile Mammography Coach that is coming to the Bloomfield Community Center, 330 Park Ave., Bloomfield, on Thursday, July 31, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

West Hartford and Bloomfield are the member towns of the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District.

Those interested are asked to make appointments for the visit.

This event is offered to women between 35 and 40 who have not had a mammogram and women 40 and older who have not had one in over a year.

Services are available to insured individuals, those without insurance, and those with a high deductible.
