Local Teams Seek To Spike Their Way To Boys Volleyball Championships

HARTFORD-TOLLAND COUNTIES, CT — Boys volleyball teams from throughout the state, including 14 from school in Hartford and Tolland counties, are preparing for the CIAC state tournaments, beginning Monday.

Brackets were released Friday morning, with Conard of West Hartford drawing the top seed in Class L and Joel Barlow of Redding earning the No. 1 spot in Class M.

Early-round contests will be hosted by the higher-seeded teams.
